Here at Potomac AMSTAFF Kennels we breed for Temperament first, concentrating on health, conformation and type second.   Our goal is to produce top winning dogs in the ring and lovable sweet pets in the homes.  Who says you can't have it all!!

1.  JAKE and OLIVIA - This was our first POTOMAC AMSTAFF breeding.   There were eight boys in the litter, three were championed before their first birthday; Ch Potomac's Seeker of Gryfindor OFA "Harry" (our boy), Ch Keystones Eye of the Storm "Stormy" currently living in New York,  and Ch Potomac's Magic Dragon "Puffy" who we co-own with our wonderful friends of Cedar Hill Kennels in Texas;   Potomac's Return of the King "Stryder" living in New York and Potomac's the Latter Preferred "Vinny"  , living in Lancaster PA, are both pointed; we hope to see them championed soon.   Potomac's #8 Fluff to the Max "Max"  lives with his family of five in Virginia.   Potomac's Potions Master "Snape" stole our hearts and has remained with us and I am looking forward to working with him in obedience.   Dumbeldore is  happily living with his family in New York.

2.  Starbuck and BLANCH - There were five dogs and one bitch in this litter.  Ch Potomac's True King of Gondor OFAex " King"  easily finished his championship with 4 majors.  Sam (Now known as Clint) lives with his family in West Almond New York.  Hermione (Now known as Blossom) lives with her family of 4 and her best friend a Bassett Hound in TX;   Harley is a therapy dog in Portsmouth, VA.  Stryder only needs a second major to complete his championship and is living happily with his family in Ophrata, PA and Gandalf is with his family in North Carolina.

3.  JAKE and OLIVIA - There were five dogs in this litter.  Ch Potomac's Goodnight Gekko "Luke" is owned by our friends of Gekko Amstaffs in VA. and has already taken multiple BOB's;  "Tank" is happily living with his family of five in Ohio and has earned a prestigious Therapy Dog title with The Delta Society and his AKC CGC; Potomac's Gentle On My Mind "Patch" has a wonderful family in Centerville, VA and has earned his AKC CGC and a place in his Mom and Dad's bed; "Shadow" is happily living with his family in South Carolina hanging out at the beach;  and "Rand" is happily living with his new Mom in PA.

4.  King and OLIVIA - King is a Potomac bred dog from our Starbuck and Blanch breeding.  He is Championed with OFA excellant hips and OFA Cardiac.  There were 6 girls and 2 dogs in this litter.  Sultan's Gypsy Rose of Potomac "Queenie" already has both her major at only 8 months and is owned by Manny Sagullo of Sultan Amstaffs in Houston, Texas. ; "Pheobe"  is home with our Daughter and her husband keeping Jake in shape.; Potomac's a Will of his Own "Will" is home with us and we are looking forward to his show career in 2008; "George" has a wonderful family in PA and has already been to school with his Dad (elementary school that is); "Roxy" is happily living with her family in the beautiful mountains of PA;  "Bindi" lives with her new family  in Ohio, look for her in the ring in 2008; Potomac's Right on the Mark "Lyra"  is home with us and is currently being spoiled by my husband; and  "RG" is home with us where  I am still trying to decide on her papered name!!.
